  • Wireless Mobility Tester Group General applicant Requirements

    Light House Communications Corporation (LHCC), a Fortune 500 Company-Preferred Telecommunications Services Provider based out of Glen Burnie Maryland anticipates openings for the following Field Test Tech Skill Sets within its Wireless Mobility Services Group during January and February 2012. The number of openings and locations are:

    Many Field assignments will require extended deployments, and an ability to travel frequently is a requirement of the position.  In many scenarios, theassigned Field Tech will be expected to perform all aspects of component testing independently, at other times, (s)he will operate with a team. Tasking will  include both Setup and Testing utilizing sophisticated assigned test devices and laptop computers.  Due to the highly visible,
    client-facing nature of the work, it is required, in all cases,  that the assigned technician demonstrates exceptionally high standards of technical professional conduct and maturity.  Our quality processes mandate that Field Technicians operate independently, but stay highly communicative with LHCC management, promptly complete after-action paperwork, and represent themselves and the company well.

    Candidates for our open positions shall meet the following minimum
    requirements:

    • Provide proof of US Citizenship
    • Possess a High School diploma or equivalent with proof of appropriate equipment training and certification and/or College/Trade-School-Level instruction in basic mechanical, electrical, computer, and/or telecommunications technology, theory, and practice
    • Possess a valid current drivers' license
    • Pass a criminal background check
    • Possess a personal mobile phone and laptop computer with coverage and software necessary and sufficient to maintain good communications with LHCC Management and colleagues.

  • Fiber Optic EF&I Group General Applicant Requirements

    Light House Communications Corporation (LHCC), a Fortune 500 Company-Preferred Telecommunications Services Provider based out of Glen Burnie, Maryland has immediate openings for the following Senior Level Field Engineering Skill Sets within its Fiber Optic Network Services Group.

    Field Deployment Engineers and Technicians With Backgrounds in Installation, Turn-up, and Testing of Fiber Optic Network Components deploying remotely from home location. Geographic regions of primary interest are: East coast concentrated in NY/NJ, GA and FL; South Central concentrated in TX.

    Many Field assignments  will require extended deployments, and an ability to travel frequently is a requirement of the position.  In a majority of scenarios, the assigned Field Tech will be expected to perform all aspects of a network deployment, including both Installation and Testing tasks as defined above.  Due to the highly visible, client-facing nature of the work, it is assumed, in all cases,  that the person assigned will demonstrate
    exceptionally high standards of technical professional conduct and maturity. Our quality processes mandate that Field Techs operate independently, but stay highly communicative with LHCC management, promptly complete after-action paperwork, and represent themselves and the company well.
